Erie, PA – Corry, Pennsylvania resident Rita Lawton won a $75,000 jackpot late Monday, February 17, 2014 at Presque Isle Downs and Casino. Lawton was playing a $5 Triple Double Gold Doubloon slot machine.
“It’s been another winning weekend in Erie for our players. We had several big $10,000 jackpots this weekend plus a $25,000 winner on Friday. But for Rita to win a $75,000 jackpot…well, it’s a win/win for all of us. I am very happy for Rita and wish congratulations to her”, stated Jeff Favre, Vice President & General Manager of Presque Isle Downs & Casino.
“As the competition and market continues to expand gaming options for players, it’s important for us to remain competitive with our jackpot payout structure. In 2013, Presque Isle Downs & Casino led the northern casino market with the highest payouts to players. Although, my tenure at Presque Isle Downs has been brief I can certainly say that we are very competitive within our market, and provide our guests with an opportunity to receive a valued gaming experience,” stated Favre.
“I am at a loss for words. I love Presque Isle Downs and Casino!” stated a very excited Rita Lawton.
