“Satin Draws Large Field”
The 10th Running of the Satin and Lace drew a full field of 14 entries. Leading the way is morning line favorite Pretty Perfection, trained by Kelly Breen. Pretty Perfection will be making her 4th Stakes start in a row at 4 different venues. She won the Captiva Island Stake at Gulfstream, running 5F in a blistering 54.26, beating several of her foes in this race. Candid Cathy winner of the Satin and Lace Prep, trained by Jonathan Sheppard, heads a extremely well matched core of local Fillies and Mares. Cathy has 6 wins out of 7 starts at this oval.
