Race 1:

1st: (1) STELLA STREET – Made her Tapeta debut 2 starts back and she rallied wide to miss by a neck in a game effort against this conditioned claiming level. She came back & ran the same race last out and now tries them again from post one with Ron Allen, Jr. back.  

2nd: (5) MORENITA Stretches out to two turns off a series of sprints here against this level. Ron Potts wins 12% going short to long and 16% with his claimers. Daughter of COWTOWN CAT picks up Antonio Gallardo – 16% with his route mounts.

3rd: (6) EASTERN SKY – Was outrun in the four starts after breaking his maiden but woke up here last out and won going away.  

Race 2:

1st: (1) CLEARWATER – Missed by a nose from post one in her career debut going 5 ½ furlongs and now she stretches out another furlong with Lasix added for the first time. Her entrymate is a well-bred first-time starters that is training forwardly for this.       

2nd: (3) CARAMEL MARTINI – Rallied from far back after a slow start to get up for second in her well-bet career debut against this level. She continues to train well for Lance Stokes who wins 17% off medium rest. Willie Martinez picks up the mount – 12% sprinting.         

3rd: (4) STAR HUNTER – Rallied wide for third after a slow start in her well-bet career debut for Nick Caruso who wins 22% second-time.           

Race 3:

1st: (5) LEAVEITALONELARRY – Beat better three starts back then raced evenly against $16K claimers. He had to drop down to $12,500 last out and was a close second going a two-turn mile in fast time for Larry Hayes who wins 15% going long to short.    

2nd: (6) PIPER HILL – Broke his maiden by three lengths in fast time then was a good second at 5 ½ furlongs. He came back to beat open company $25K claimers and now drops down to $12,500 for Dale Capuano who wins 26% with this kind of dropdown. Gallardo rides.   

3rd: (7) HALF TON OF FUN – Beat this claiming level three starts back then raced evenly the next out going short.                   

Race 4:

1st: (5) LITTLE SNIP – Horse for the course beat bottom-level claimers by five lengths two starts back then she came back with an even effort against starter allowance foes. Tim Girten wins 25% with his claimers and 23% with his synthetic track starters.       

2nd: (8) PREFER DIAMONDS – Horse for the course tried Tapeta two starts back and won going away from post eleven in a wide trip. He did it again last out going this distance and drops down a notch in class for Joe Martin who wins 17% first start after a win.         

3rd: (4) WILD IDEA – Took her eleven starts to break her maiden then she won two of her next three starts for Kevin Rice..  

Race 5:

1st: (1) MILEVA – Did nothing first time out but tried Tapeta second time out and she missed by a head. She broke her maiden by three lengths at 7 to 5 then did nothing in a turf stakes race. Brett Santangelo wins 20% with his synthetic track starters.     

2nd: (3) CROWN AND SUGAR – Broke her maiden third time out then she came back three starts later and won with first-time Lasix. Teresa Connelly wins 27% second-time Lasix and first start after a win. Antonio Gallardo rides back – 30% with Connelly.    

3rd: (4) BRIDAL SHOWER – Rallied from off the pace to break her maiden first time out going this distance as the lukewarm favorite.     

Race 6:

1st: (3) DRIVER’S GIRL – Unusual filly shipped in from England where she never ran on turf but did well on the all-weather tracks there. She shipped here and did nothing in two turf starts so Graham Motion tries Tapeta going two turns with Pablo Morales aboard.   

2nd: (2) MEOW – Made her Tapeta debut two starts back and she won by a nose going a two-turn mile here then she came back with a second in an off-the-turf event on a sloppy track. Arnaud Delacour wins 23% off medium rest and 20% with his allowance starters.

3rd: (5) ONE CALL AWAY – Did nothing in three career starts on dirt then tried Tapeta off a long layoff and she won easily.                                 

Race 7:

1st: (3) EL CACIQUE – Broke his maiden in his ninth start then came back here and won again. He was an even second last out against this group for Lawrence Antus who wins 5% with his synthetic track starters and 15% when he rides Mike Allen.     

2nd: (2) WEST END GAMBLER – Broke his maiden by nine lengths on the dirt in Ohio two starts back then came back there and beat $12,500 claimers by seven lengths as the 3 to 2 favorite. He takes another drop in class while trying Tapeta for the first time.

3rd: (4) DADDY DUKE – Raced evenly behind the top choice in traffic then came back and won here from post ten in a wide trip.    

Race 8:

1st: (3) THIRSTY BANDIT – Was outrun in her first five career starts then tried Tapeta last out and was a good second going a two-turn mile. Daughter of STAY THIRSTY returns against the same maiden claiming level for Susan Cooney and she is able to get Gallardo back.        

2nd: (4) COUGARESS – Winless in 18 tries and seven of them came against this maiden claiming level here. Daughter of KITTEN’S JOY draws well and gets a rider upgrade to Addiel Ayala who wins 16% with his route mounts and has been riding very well lately.                      

3rd: (7) COURAGEOUS SADIE – Was a good third two starts back against this level then was a good second going six furlongs.
