1st: (2) ERIN’S WISH – Just missed two starts back here going 5 ½ furlongs in fast time then she came back at 6 ½ furlongs with the identical result. She can save ground from post one and try to get lucky in the drive with Addiel Ayala who wins 13% with his sprinters.
2nd: (9) HENIN –Horse for the course won going gate to wire at a mile against one level cheaper then showed some late kick the last two starts against similar company including a close second eleven days ago at this distance. Mario Pino rides back – 21% with his sprinters.
3rd: (8) SARA THE GREAT – Beat better two starts back then aced evenly here against these as the 4 to 5 favorite with no visible excuse.
1st: (11) STEVEDORE – Rallied from far back to miss by a head after being shuffled back from post one in his well-bet career debut and moves up in class for Jeff Radosevich who wins 31% with this maiden move and 29% with his overall maiden special weight starters.
2nd: (5) OUZO – First-time starter from Lance Stokes who wins 18% with his debut runners and 12% when they debut against this maiden level. He has been training extremely well with three, six-furlong breezes over the track here & gets Ron Allen, Jr. – 18% with his sprinters.
3rd: (7) CAPTAIN MAD JACK – Was a good 3rd against this maiden level then just missed against state-breds. He adds Lasix & Gallardo.
1st: (3) LILY’S SECRET – Showed high speed two starts back when she gunned to the front and almost held on then she dropped down to this class level and just missed again. She adds blinkers today and always seems to run well here. Willie Martinez rides back.
2nd: (8) SACRED SEASON – Has run well in all three starts on Tapeta. She was a good second here last year against allowance foes then she rallied from way back to miss by a length two starts back. Last out, she tired when used hard from post ten & drops down in class her.
3rd: (5) ALGIER’S POINT – Broke her maiden on dirt at Monmouth Park last year. She raced evenly here off a long layoff against better.
1st: (7) STORMY HIGHWAY – Broke her maiden at long odds on the dirt at Finger Lakes then came back here and was a game third after showing good speed against this optional claiming level. He adds blinkers today and gets Andre Worrie who wins 14% going long.
2nd: (1) UNCLE ARCHIE – Broke his maiden here first time out then came back two starts later with a good second behind next-out winner going two turns for the first time. He showed good speed in a six-furlong sprint last out for Tim Girten who wins 22% going short to long.
3rd: (2) VIRTUE AND VICE – Broke his maiden going six furlongs then came back the last two starts and raced evenly going long.
1st: (7) GREAT – Took him nine starts to break his maiden which he did going two turns then he came back here in a long sprint and won again. Joe Martin wins 17% with first start after a win and 13% with his synthetic track starters. Pablo Morales rides back.
2nd: (6) RICHIESINTHEHOUSE – Speedball tried synthetic tracks once & he held on for second in a stakes race at Arlington Park. He tired last out on the turf back there and now tries Tapeta for Larry Rivelli who wins 29% with his allowance runners and 16% going long to short.
3rd: (8) BUGLE BARRY – Broke his maiden by five lengths when lasix was added then he came back & beat allowance runners next out.
1st: (9) THUNDER’S ROLLIN’ – Horse for the course beat this claiming level two starts back then was a good third as the 2 to 1 favorite going 5 ½ furlongs. Tim girten wins 26% first start after being beaten as the favorite and 25% with his claiming starters.
2nd: (3) GUNG HO – Overcame post 12 to win going away two starts back going two turns then came back and missed by a neck behind a next-out winner. He came back then days later and raced poorly from post nine and draws better with Antonio Gallardo back aboard.
3rd: (5) EDDIE SET GO – Horse for the course won his 12th start here two starts back at the age of ten and drops in distance today.
1st: (6) SEEKNTHEGIANTPEARL – Won her Tapeta debut two starts back in her first start off the claim by Ricardo Bailey. She came back and showed good speed before weakening last out going a two-turn mile in fast time and Erin Walker is likely to try to steal the race.
2nd: (7) ANSWER MY CALL – Won her Tapeta debut here against open company $25K claimers then ran well against allowance foes in her next four starts. She has a good stalking running style and Huber Villa-Gomez rides back for Ryan Walsh – 18% with his sprinters.
3rd: (3) ELSIE COLE – Ran poorly here early in her career but has two blow-out wins on the dirt in her last four starts.
1st: (3) TOTAL FUTBOL – Raced well against much better company then dropped down in class last out and was a good third. He takes another drop in class at the end of the meet for Ron Potts who wins 20% with his synthetic track starters and 14% going long.
2nd: (5) SUNDAY PROHIBITION – Held well to be second two starts back as the 6 to 5 favorite then raced evenly last out when he came up empty in the stretch. Matt Kintz wins 20% going long and 14% with his synthetic track starters. Jaime Rodriguez picks up the ride.
3rd: (8) CAPT. ZIPPOUNAS – One-dimensional closer will be far back early and he was able to get up in time last out here in good time.
