Cactus Kris stalked the pace and held off a hard charging Disco Barbie, who checked sharply in deep stretch, to win the 8th running of The Satin & Lace Stakes by a head in 1:02.70.

Winning trainer Ryan Walsh said he’s pointing his 4 year old filly in the direction of the Masters Prep as his game plan in preparation for The Masters Stakes where Cactus Kris finished 4th last year.

Tom Ridge Stakes winner Cyclogenisis will take his undefeated 3-0 record across the pond to England’s Royal Ascots turf course for the Commonwealth Stakes.

The 3 year old colt has won his first two starts on the sod including a 5 ¾ length score in last year’s Laurel Futurity.
