$9.99 Buffet Launches Friday, Kiss a Pig 5K Race and Kentucky Derby Drive Thru Wagering Returns this Saturday
Erie, PA – Friday, May 4, 2018 will begin a busy weekend at the Erie casino. The casino announced today the launch of their new $9.99 buffet menu, new hours, and new lower pricing.
Fiesta Fridays will be from 4pm to 10pm; Italiano Saturdays from 12pm to 10pm; and Pot Luck Sundays from 12pm to 3pm. Pricing is set at $9.99 for guests with player cards and $14.99 without a player card.
“My team and I spend a lot of time talking with our guests and one of the main topics we heard was that we needed to lower our prices and change the selection in our buffet. So, after several months of planning, we were able to come up with some themes that we hope our players will enjoy and the price is fantastic,” stated Kevin O’Sullivan Vice President and General Manager of Presque Isle Downs and Casino.
Saturday will mark the first leg of the Triple Crown where horse racing fans have a chance to enjoy a day at Presque Isle Downs to watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby and a potential Triple Crown Winner. Although The Brew Brothers is sold out for the day, standing room only is available beginning at 5:00 PM for $10. The annual Derby Hat Contest will return this year to The Brew Brothers and anyone 21 and over is encouraged to register beginning at 4:00PM in the restaurant lobby. The winner, selected by crowd participation, will be awarded dinner for four to LBV Steak & Pasta.
Pari-Mutuel wagering will also be available in LBV Steak & Pasta beginning at 1:00PM on Saturday. Reservations are limited so please call 814-866-8359. Bar service will be available until 5:00PM when dinner will be available.
Drive-thru wagering on the Kentucky Derby will be offered in the lower parking lot of the casino from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Kentucky Derby post time is slated for 6:34 PM.
